SUMMARY

The person is responsible for  monitoring and operating the CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV control room. This role involves detecting suspicious activities, recording incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor multiple CCTV screens and alarm systems simultaneously.
• Identify, investigate, and report security breaches or suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular checks and routine maintenance of CCTV equipment.
• Record and store all footage captured by the cameras.
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and follow emergency procedures.
• Communicate with law enforcement, security personnel, operations team or building managers when needed.
• Assist law enforcement authorities in investigations and operations.
• Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV control room and its facilities.
• Provide support to security personnel and other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven work experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and operations.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
