- Cambodia gets $3.3B in foreign investment
Cambodia received almost $3.3 billion for 123 foreign investment projects from January to August this year, according to data by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). The projects were for the manufacturing of garments, footwear, tires, wiring products, plastics, bags and travel materials, besides fruit processing and automobile assembly.

- Royal Railway gets green light from CSX for bond listing
Royal Group’s monopoly subsidiary Royal Railway Plc yesterday got approval in principle from Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) on bond listing eligibility review before having to submit applications to the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), according to a CSX official in charge of market operations.

- CDC okays with Toyota’s $36.7M assembly plant in PP
Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing (Cambodia) Co Ltd will build an assembly plant worth $36.7 million in Phnom Penh, a statement released by Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) said. Cambodian Special Economic Zone Board (CSEZB) of the CDC has approved the registration of the investment project to this effect yesterday.
